Welcome to sunny Scandinavia!
The soulboater team is growing fast, and brand new and very much welcome to the family are the guys from Team Adrenal in Norway. Runners of big rivers, festival and freestyle competition regulars, film makers and all round good guys, the Team gave us a call and asked if we could work together. With the quality of paddling in mind and their general approach to paddling well liked, we said a massive yes! They have come on board to strengthen the quality of paddlers we have in Europe, and spread the word around the best rivers in Scandinavia about soulboater.
Team guru Mark Burton said:

The team consists of Mark, Becky Lar, Martin Vollen, Per Christian Pederson, Lars Georg Paulsen and Matthias Fossen, all great paddlers based around the River Otra, and offering coaching to those who want to sample the delights of Norwegian paddling. Finally soulboater has entered the Brookbank building!
It took a while, but we are now in business with Brookbank. Having given Mark a t-shirt at the Outdoors Show, we've followed that up by taking our first order from the mighty kayaking outlet in Manchester! Mark's order should be with him by the end of April, and he has a range of t-shirts and the ever popular Angel Hoodie coming to him. If there's anything you'd like to order from Mark get in touch with him and I'm sure he'll be delighted to help out.
Welcome to Italy!
We are now working with Alpin Action in Trieste, Italy. Pietro and his team have taken on board the soulboater brand and with the help of new Team members Dejan Kralj and Francesco Salvato, they will be showing Italy and Slovenia what every good paddler should be wearing off the water! New Team members have entered the building!
We're adding to our Team again, with four new members to tell you about! Steffi Bank has joined the team, living and paddling in Germany, and her profile is ready now and up on the Team page. Dejan Kralj was introduced to us by our new friends in Trieste, Alpin Action, as the paddler they thought we should approach for Slovenia. He's recently returned from competition in Sydney. Louise Lowndes, winner of the K1 ladies BUSA Slalom up at Teeside back in February is looking forward to receiving her kit, with some of the new ladies gear we launched at the Outddors Show. Finally, we really pleased to welcome Francesco Salvato one of Italy's top paddlers. Francesco is well known throughout the paddling world, competing against the likes of Britain's very own Allan Ellard in the Teva Mountain Challenge, and he's even appeared in the Italian version of Men's Health! Soon to be hitting the rivers of Corsica with Deb Pinniger, he and his team from Free Flow Kayaks will be sporting the soulboater brand.
Soulboater team members hit the waves
Team members Ollie Castle and Jamie Burbeck travelled down to Lyon over the Easter break and met up with French team member Romain to play on the legendary wave that is Hawai-sur-Rhone. Their trip overlapped with that over Lowri Davies who recently ran the very successful Youth Freestyle event up at Llangollen, and we think Lowri was appreciative of the break in Lyon before the event! Back to Ollie and Jamie, and they had a great time, getting some footage for the forthcoming C1 DVD series they are about to start working on, as well as some great off river footage. Look out for an account of their trip in a paddling magazine coming to you soon!
New Designs
Look out for some new designs next month, with a few new colours in the t-shirt range, and maybe some surprises with some different products!

The Boys done good!!!
Results from Down Under are through, and the soulboater boys did everyone proud. Alan Ward claimed Gold in the K1 Junior Mens event with a score of 58.33 in his final run, and Jamie Burbeck clinched Bronze in the OC1 class, missing out on silver by one point. Well done boys, enjoy the party!
